PHOTOTROPHS

b.   PHOTOTROPHS: Animal that synthesize their own food materials are called phototrophs. They trap and use sunlight with the help of green pigment called chlorophyll and convert carbon dioxideand water into carbohydrates. Thus phototrops obtain energy by photosynthesis and  they nourish themselves independently. All green plants some primitive animals like Euglena and Volvox are e.g
